Explore Bergen and Hike on Mount Fløyen (Post)

Itinerary for your Post-Programme

Day 1:  Guided hike on Mount Fløyen 

You’ll meet your guide at the pier for a short transfer to your hotel where you can drop off your luggage. We’ll then walk from the hotel to the lower cable car station, where you’ll ride the Fløibanen Funicular up the mountain. 

Once at the top, your guide will show you around some of the most iconic lakes and walking paths of Mount Fløyen. Soaring at over 1,300 feet above sea level, you’ll enjoy stunning scenery and breathtaking views of the city of Bergen from the top of the mountain. At the end of your hike, you’ll take the cable car down and head back to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure and explore more of the city’s highlights. 

Day 2: Bergen and departure 

After a delicious breakfast at your hotel, your Post-Programme comes to an end. With so many things to see and do in Bergen, you might wish to extend your trip even a little longer and enjoy some more city sightseeing. 

Please note that we may visit sites in a different order.

Remarks and requirements 

• This tour involves walking on uneven and steep terrain.  
• Please dress appropriately and wear suitable hiking shoes. 
• If the minimum number of participants is not reached, we reserve the right to cancel the trip up to 6 weeks before departure.
