Enjoy the experince and learn about the history of S. Filipe City by going on a guided tour, you will see the colonial style houses, know as “Sobrados”, many of which have been restored. The walk also includes a visit to the municipal market where you will learn about the local fruits and vegetables. Visit S. Filipe Mother church and hear about the religion. In the “Memory House” and Museum, you will learn during your visit about the history in Cape Verde generally and especially in Fogo Island.

The old photos, equipment’s, objects, tools will tell you millions of stories. After your visit you will enjoy a coffee break with traditional drinks and snacks. You will visit little coffee house of local producer where you may also buy coffee.
