Departure from pier to Cidade Velha. Enjoy a panoramic drive towards Cidade Velha the first Capital of Cape Verde, located at the opposite side of the island. Here will visit the Fortress of S Filipe, built by orders of Filipe I King of Portugal and Spain After the visit will walk by Rua Banana” where you will be able to see the old stone houses and visit a local shop of handicrafts. Also here you will visit the Pelourinho a mark on the history of slavery and the commerce of salves.

The most active part come into place as you walk along the valley of Calabaceira for about 2 hours with some amazing views. Finish with a visit to the Fortress and then it’s time to drive back to the pier.
