Ceremony with shanty performance and a visit of Hapag Hallen.

In Cuxhaven we celebrate the beginning of our journey to Norway. For centuries, German sailors and emigrants sailed from the port of Cuxhaven. On this excursion you will enjoy a concert with traditional sea shanties, a midnight snack and a guided tour of the Hapag Hall, which will give you a historical perspective on our voyage.

You are met directly at the ship by local tour guides. A short sightseeing tour by bus will take you past Cuxhaven's harbour and sights at night and to the old emigrant station, the Hapag Halls. You wil hear stories to smile but also information about the maritime heritage of the city and fishing industry. The Hapag Halls are a historic waiting room for emigrants dating from 1902.

Please note: This excursion ends at 01:30 AM. Limited number of participants.
