This exhilarating and uniquely action-packed experience begins with a fun and scenic narrated bus ride through the delightful village of Hoonah before ascending to the top of Hoonah Mountain.

After stops to admire panoramic views of Hoonah, Port Frederick and Icy Strait, take a short walk to the launch area, located 1,330 feet (405 m) above sea level - higher than the Empire State Building! Here, you will be seated in a special harness as you await your launch. Unlike anything you've ever experienced before, this ZipRider boasts six cables, which means that six riders can go at the same time - so prepare for a race to the bottom!

Accelerating to 60 mph (97 kph), the land drops away and you will be ‘flying’ at an incredible 300 feet (90 m) above the rainforest below. During the exhilarating one-and-a-half-minute ride, you will enjoy sweeping views of Port Frederick, Icy Strait and surroundings. This amazing adrenaline-fueled zip ride ends with a gentle touchdown on the beach at the water's edge at Icy Strait Point.
