Explore Bergen and Hike on Mount Fløyen (Pre)

Itinerary for your Pre-Programme

Day 1: Arrive in Bergen 

Enjoy an overnight hotel stay at the heart of the city. If you have time, you can explore the city sights at your leisure before your tour tomorrow.   

Day 2: Guided hike on Mount Fløyen  

After a delicious breakfast, your guide will meet you at the hotel and take you on foot to the lower cable car station, where you’ll ride the Fløibanen Funicular up the mountain. 

Once at the top, your guide will show you around some of the most iconic lakes and walking paths of Mount Fløyen. Soaring at over 1,300 feet above sea level, you’ll enjoy stunning scenery and breathtaking views of the city of Bergen from the top of the mountain. At the end of your hike, you’ll take the cable car down and head back to your hotel to collect your luggage. You’ll then be transferred to the port where your expedition ship awaits.

Remarks and requirements 

• This tour involves walking on uneven and steep terrain. 
• Please dress appropriately and wear suitable hiking shoes. 
• If the minimum number of participants is not reached, we reserve the right to cancel the trip up to 6 weeks before departure.
