Your adventure begins the moment you step off the ship, where you’ll be met by your mountain guide. It’s a swift transfer to the trailhead, and during the journey you’ll be captivated by the tales and secrets of Alta, a place steeped in tradition and stories waiting to be uncovered.
Nestled between the harbour and city centre, Komsa stands some 213 metres above sea level and is Alta’s most popular hill to climb. From the base, an exhilarating half-hour ascent awaits. Your efforts will be generously rewarded once you reach the summit, with a breathtaking 360-degree panoramic view over Alta. Gaze out over the picturesque city, trace the meandering river valleys, and bask in the shimmering beauty of the fjord.
You’ll have ample time to catch your breath, savour the views, and capture this awe-inspiring moment through your lens, before embarking on the descent back to the shuttle bus.
