General

The information and descriptions have been checked by our staff and/or local agents to ensure they are correct. However, changes may occur after the date of publication, and there may be occasions when Hurtigruten or local suppliers may withdraw some facilities.

Should we become aware of any significant change, that may be considered to have an effect on the enjoyment of your holiday, we will do our best to advise you. Many areas we visit are very remote and affected by prolonged cold or with various degrees of difficulty on their terrain. The facilities on offer will be subject to local conditions.

We will send you a new updated travel itinerary.

A SMIF or Sailing Manifest Information Form is a document used in the travel and transportation industry, particularly for cruise ships. It is a form that passengers often fill out before embarking on a a cruise to help ensure passenger safety, security, and logistics during the journey. Additionally, it may be used for immigration and customs purposes.

The form typically collects important information about passengers, including:

  • personal information

  • emergency contact information

  • passport details

  • medical details

Booking and payment

You do not need your PIN code for using a credit card to make a payment online or via the phone. However, a lot of banks might send a confirmation code or security check to your mobile phone. You will also be required to provide the following information:

  • Credit Card Type

  • Card Number

  • Expiration Date

  • Card Verification Code (CVV)

Please have these to hand when making your booking.

You can pay online.

You can also pay via wire transfer or check. For wire transfers and check payments, please advise us if sending a payment this way so booking is not canceled while waiting for payment. Please make checks payable to Hurtigruten Americas, Inc. and notate your booking number in the memo line. Checks can be mailed to, P.O. Box 103484, Pasadena, CA, 91189-3484, USA. If you are booked through a Travel Agency, please contact your Travel Advisor for payment.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.

We can hold a booking for 7 days with an initial non-refundable 25% payment if booking more than 90 days before departure. Departures less than 90 days from booking, will require full payment. Any outstanding balance must be settled 90 days prior to departure. It is possible to make a payment on two separate cards - please visit the 'Make a Payment' page. If you are having trouble making a payment online, please call us as per the details above. 

We can hold a booking for 7 days with an initial non-refundable 25% payment if booking more than 90 days before departure. Departures less than 90 days from booking, will require full payment. Any outstanding balance must be settled 90 days prior to departure.

Unfortunately, we are unable to extend the final due date. To confirm your booking, payment is needed within 7 days.

Upon completion of your booking, you will receive a confirmation email to the email address supplied.

This also includes your booking reference number which will be needed if paying via deposit. 

Departures less than 90 days from booking, will require full payment.

If you have already paid a deposit, any outstanding balance must be settled 90 days prior to departure.

We do not take any automatic payments for the outstanding balance. After paying a deposit, you will receive a payment link that is unique to your booking and where any outstanding balance can be settled.

To make a payment online please visit the 'Make a Payment' page. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. It is also possible to make a payment via wire transfer. For details please see your invoice.

For wire transfers and check payments, please advise us if sending a payment so that your booking is not canceled while waiting for payment. If your payment has failed or struggling to make payment online through your debit/credit card, please contact your bank in the first instance.

FAQs: Flight delays and cancellations

When your travel itinerary faces delays, follow these steps for a hassle-free journey:

  1. Stick to Your Schedule: Head to the airport as originally planned.

  2. Delayed First Flight: If your first flight is delayed, board it as scheduled. Sometimes, your flight may still be on time, or the next aircraft will wait for delayed passengers.

  3. Missed Connecting Flight: If you miss a connecting flight, visit the airline's service desk at the connecting airport. They may have already rebooked you. Also, reach out to us for assistance.

  4. Earlier Flight Options: If your new departure time could lead to missing your ship's departure, ask the airport service desk for an earlier flight. Arrive at the airport nearest to your departure port at least 90 minutes before your ship's departure. If this isn't feasible, contact us for alternative arrangements.

We're here to help make your journey as smooth as possible.

If your flight plans have been changed, follow these steps:

  1. Check Your Booking: Visit the airline's website and use the reference number from your travel documents (e.g., A1B2C3).

  2. Rebooking: You may have already been rebooked to an alternative departure. Ensure your new flight arrives in time to embark the ship. Arrive at the nearest airport to your ship's departure port at least 90 minutes before departure.

  3. Contact Us: If you haven't been automatically rebooked or if your new flight times conflict with your ship's departure, please get in touch with us.

In case of flight cancellation, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Airline Service Desk: Reach out to the airline's service desk at the airport. They should provide you with alternative flight options and, if needed, arrange accommodation.

  2. Check New Flight Timing: When you receive new flight times, ensure that you'll arrive at the nearest airport to your ship's departure port at least 90 minutes before the ship departs.

  3. Contact Us for Assistance: If the airport service desk can't assist you or the new flight times don't allow you to board the ship on time, please get in touch with us.

To address flight delays and ensure a timely arrival at the ship's departure port:

  1. Review Transfer Timetable: Check the transfer timetable and catch the next available bus.

  2. Consider Taking a Taxi: If there are no more transfers that day or the last one won't get you to the ship's departure port on time, opt for a taxi.

  3. Contact Us if Needed: If, despite taking a taxi, you won't make it to the port on time, please reach out to us.

Please take the following steps when dealing with missing luggage:

  1. Register Your Missing Luggage: Begin by registering your missing luggage at the airport or online via the airline's website. Missing luggage can take time to locate. Therefore, please provide details of your trip, including your ship and hotel stays, along with dates.

  2. Receive Property Irregularity Report (PIR): The airline will provide you with a Property Irregularity Report (PIR) receipt for your missing luggage.

  3. Contact Onboard Reception: If your luggage hasn't arrived before you board the ship, bring your PIR receipt to our onboard reception. Our staff will assist in getting your bags delivered onboard and guide you on purchasing essential items. We will do our utmost to assist in acquiring medication, but we cannot promise results. It's highly recommended that you place very important items to in your carry-on case. 

  4. Keep Receipts: Retain all receipts for your claim against the airline.

For return flights, follow the same process. Your luggage will be delivered to your home address by the airline as soon as possible.

If you've booked flights through us and intend to modify your flight itinerary, please inform us of the changes. For those who've booked through a third-party provider, kindly reach out to them regarding flight changes.

In the event you've booked your flights through us and are informed (either in advance or at the airport) that your air tickets are set to stand-by, this is often due to airline overbookings. It's important to note that we don't arrange stand-by tickets, and you have the right to request a confirmed seat on the flight. Airlines are aware of your cruise booking and the importance of arriving at your destination on time.

Know before you go

We do not accept any responsibility if you cannot travel, or incur any other loss because you have not complied with any passport, visa, immigration requirements or health formalities. You agree to reimburse us in relation to any fines or other losses which we incur as a result of your failure to comply with any passport, visa, immigration requirements or health formalities.

Passport and visas

All guests must present a valid passport with a validity of six months post-voyage when they check-in to a voyage. A valid passport is required for both the North Cape Line and the Svalbard Line. You will not be permitted to disembark the ship without one.

All guests should obtain up-to-date advice on passport and visa requirements from the Embassy, High Commission or Consulate of the destination or country(ies) through which you are traveling.  

Vaccinations

There are no compulsory vaccinations or health requirements for traveling to Norway, but it is the responsibility of all passengers to check and make sure they comply with any health requirements at the time of travel. For the most up-to-date guidance, check the Norwegian Institute for Public Health website.

We suggest you consult your doctor or relevant health authorities about any precautions you should take with regard to deep-vein thrombosis (DVT).

Prohibited items

Hurtigruten complies with ISPS regulations (International Ship and Port Security System) so all luggage is inspected by X-ray/metal detector upon arrival at the port facility or ship. These regulations also include hand baggage scans in all ports of call throughout the course of your voyage.

The below list is not exhaustive. The SSO/Captain are authorized to make a professional judgment as to the legality of any item declared, detected, or discovered on board. 

Prohibited items include:

  • Illegal drugs, narcotics, and illegal substances

  • All firearms including replicas imitations, non-firing weapons, starting pistols and their components (including but not limited to the following items: Guns, operational or replicas, ammunition of all types, BB Guns, Compressed Air Guns, including Paint Ball Guns, Flare Guns, Gun Lighters, Gun/Firearms Parts, Pellet Guns, Spear Guns, Starter Pistols, Realistic Replicas of Firearms)

  • All explosives and replicas (including, but are not limited to, the following items: Blasting Caps, Dynamite, Fireworks, Pyrotechnics, Hand Grenades, Plastic Explosives, Bomb Making Components, Gun Powder)

  • Pointed weapons and sharp objects (including, but not limited to, the following items: throwing stars, flick- or gravity knifes, daggers, knifes or scissors with blade longer than 7 cm (including folding pocket knives), open razors, Spears or Spears gun, archery equipment, crossbows, crossbow bolts and long bow arrows, sabers, swords, Skean Dhus or Kirpans, axes)

  • Blunt weapons (including, but not limited to the following items: knuckle dusters, brass knuckles, clubs, coshes, batons, flails or nunchaku and other items adapted or intended for use as an offensive weapon)

  • Restraining Devices (including, but not limited to the following items: handcuffs, leg or head restraining straps)

  • High voltage stun devices and items containing incapacitating substances (including, but not limited to the following items: tasers, gas guns, tear gas spray, mace, phosphorus, acid and other dangerous chemicals that could be used to maim or disable, poison)

  • Flammable substances unless carried in limited quantities (including, but not limited to the following items: petrol, methylated spirits, lighter fuel, paints, thinners, large batteries, etc)

  • Candles or incense

  • Compressed gas tanks, bottles, cylinders (including, but not limited to the following items: dive tanks, propane tanks, large aerosol cans)

  • Items containing heating elements (including, but not limited to the following items: Immersion Heaters, Heating blankets, infrared heaters, flat irons, water heaters, coffee machines, etc)

  • Remote-controlled or independent flying devices (including, but not limited to the following items: drones, toys, kites of any kind)

  • Self-balancing hover boards, air wheels, scooters, Segways

  • Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacons (EPIRB), ham radios, satellite phones, transformers, laser and laser pointers, signaling jamming devices

Our paramount concern is your safety, and we prioritize it above all else. Consequently, we maintain a vigilant watch on the ever-changing conditions, which can include the challenges posed by choppy waters or the shroud of thick fog.

In the event that nature's plans interferes with ours, rest assured that we stand ready to make real-time adjustments. Whether it entails tweaking our itinerary to ensure smooth sailing or taking the precautionary step of canceling onshore excursions at a moment's notice, your safety remains our guiding principle throughout your voyage.

Much like the ever-changing weather along the Norwegian coast, we can't guarantee the specific wildlife encounters you'll experience during your voyage with us. The wildlife you encounter is influenced by various factors, including the season, migration patterns, and even a dash of luck.

The unpredictability of nature and wildlife along the Norwegian coast is what makes these surprise encounters truly extraordinary. Each journey is a unique adventure, filled with opportunities to witness magnificent creatures in their natural habitat, from majestic whales breaching the surface to vibrant sea eagles soaring above.

Information about life on board The Coastal Express

Check-in

In Bergen, embarkation is from 4:00 p.m., with departure at 8:30 p.m. 

Check-out

Normal check-out from cabins is at 12:00 p.m. It is possible to buy a later check-out at the reception if it is available:

  • NOK 300 for 1-3 hours

  • An additional NOK 100 per hour for more than 3 hours

Ports with earlier check-out:

  • Bergen (at 10:00 a.m.)

  • Kirkenes (at 8:00 a.m.)

  • Trondheim (at 8:00 a.m.)

  • Tromsø (southbound - at 8:00 p.m.)

To ensure a smooth departure, please be prepared for boarding at least 15 minutes prior to departure time at all ports. If you are embarking in Bergen, please arrive at the terminal no later than 30 minutes before departure.

While ashore, you'll have the freedom to explore the captivating ports we visit at your own pace. Our sailing plan is available. We kindly ask that you return to the ship promptly, especially if it has experienced any delays, to adhere to our schedule. Departure times will always be clearly displayed at the gangway.

Please be aware that the ship cannot wait for late arrivals. If you miss your ship, you will be responsible for arranging and covering the cost of transportation to the next scheduled port.

You can choose your cabin grade and cabin number at no extra charge (subject to availability). 

Please note that cabins on decks with access to outside areas may sometimes have an obstructed view and/or have other passengers walking past their window. Some cabins may experience some noise and vibration during docking and loading of goods. This varies depending on the location of your cabin.

Please ask our reservations team for advice on the best cabin location for you. 

All our ships feature at least one wheelchair-accessible cabin, ensuring comfortable accommodations for all travelers with accessibility needs.

Norwegian Kroner (NOK) is the onboard currency. Most major currencies may be exchanged on board. Visa and MasterCard are accepted.

To streamline your expenses, you can easily obtain a cruise card, which can be used to cover additional expenses and settled at the conclusion of your voyage.

Indulge in our diverse array of plant-based dining options available for both lunch and dinner. We take great care to accommodate special dietary needs and address food allergies when informed in advance. To ensure a delightful dining experience, please make it a priority to communicate any food allergies you may have at the time of booking. Your well-being and culinary satisfaction are of utmost importance to us.

We Norwegians are down-to-earth people. We don’t believe in dress codes on board. Wear your hiking shoes to dinner or your slippers to breakfast. It’s up to you.

Please note that the use of passenger-operated drones is strictly prohibited during your voyage. This policy is in place to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests on board. Drones can pose potential safety risks, disrupt sensitive wildlife, and compromise the personal security of fellow travelers.

Our onboard sockets are designed for 220v/50Hz AC power and are of the two-pin Continental type. If necessary, we recommend that you bring your own adapters to ensure compatibility with your devices.

Indulge in a culinary journey at our main restaurant, Torget, open for three delectable meals a day. Begin your day with a sumptuous breakfast served from 7am, featuring a delightful spread of hot options and a buffet teeming with fresh bread, fruits, yogurts, eggs, pancakes, smoothies, and juices. At 12pm, savor à la carte selections crafted from the finest seasonal ingredients, and in the evening, delight in a three-course à la carte dinner starting at 6pm. Our menu caters to diverse tastes, offering a range of plant-based options for both lunch and dinner.

For an exceptional taste of Arctic fine dining, journey to Kysten, where our Culinary Ambassadors have thoughtfully curated the menu. Alternatively, for a more relaxed dining experience, Brygga, our onboard bistro, awaits with a mouthwatering menu of salads, sandwiches, burgers, and pizzas.

Indulge your sweet tooth at Multe, our onboard bakery, where you can relish waffles adorned with generous dollops of whipped cream or ice cream.

While it's not customary to tip on our ships, we appreciate your recognition of exceptional service. Tip boxes and envelopes are conveniently placed in the restaurant for those who wish to show their appreciation to our dedicated crew members.

We provide complimentary Wi-Fi aboard our ships. Please be aware that signal strength may vary in different areas of the ship. Since our voyages take you through remote regions of Norway, internet speeds may also be slower, making it less suitable for streaming services.

While we do not have a doctor or pharmacy on board, our trained officers are equipped to provide emergency medical assistance. Our ships are also in proximity to land for urgent medical needs.

We prioritize good hand hygiene and request all guests to regularly wash or sanitize their hands, especially before meals. Hand sanitizer stations are conveniently placed throughout the ship.

Our air-conditioning systems ensure a continuous supply of fresh air; we do not recycle air.

To ensure your well-being, it is recommended to have personal travel/health insurance. If you rely on medication, please bring an ample supply to cover any unforeseen delays, although they are rare. We recommend carrying your medication in your hand luggage, with clear labeling and usage instructions.

Our official onboard languages are Norwegian and English. Additionally, some of our Expedition Team members, reception staff, and service crew are proficient in German. On MS Richard With, you'll also find team members who speak French.

For your convenience, many of our excursions are guided in two or three languages. If you'd like more details, please don't hesitate to reach out to the Expedition Team or the Tour Leader on board.

We offer onboard laundry facilities equipped with washing machines, dryers, and irons on all our ships. You can conveniently purchase tokens for these facilities at the reception.

Hot tubs can be found on all ships except MS Vesterålen and MS Trollfjord. All ships have fitness rooms.

Luggage handling is not part of the cost. If you are embarking or disembarking at the Hurtigruten Terminal in Bergen, our team will assist you with your luggage. For all other ports, you are kindly requested to manage your own luggage during embarkation and disembarkation.

As part of our commitment to safety, all passengers are required to attend a mandatory safety briefing in Bergen and Kirkenes before the ship's departure. Once on board, our attentive crew will conduct additional safety briefings at intervals during the voyage. These briefings, lasting approximately 10-15 minutes, are compulsory for all guests, even those who have sailed with us before.

During the briefing, you'll receive instructions on how to properly don a life jacket and guidance on emergency procedures in the unlikely event of an evacuation or other onboard emergencies. Our crew will be available to address any questions or concerns you may have.

To further enhance your awareness of emergency procedures, we've provided diagrams in your cabins and throughout public areas. If you ever have any doubts, our reception staff will be more than happy to assist you.

Additionally, please exercise caution when embarking and disembarking at ports, as there may be vehicular activity on the quay involving cars loading or unloading goods. Your safety is our utmost priority.

All our ships feature onboard shops offering a curated selection of premium products. You'll find high-end Norwegian clothing brands, outdoor equipment tailored for excursions and hikes, a variety of gifts, and souvenirs. Additionally, we offer a convenient selection of toiletries for purchase.

For a seamless experience and to avoid disappointment, we highly recommend pre-booking your excursions to secure your spot. You can reserve these adventures up to four weeks before your departure.

Any remaining excursion slots will be available for purchase on board, and charges will be in Norwegian Kroner at the ship's exchange rate.

Please keep in mind that all excursions are subject to change, as weather and sea conditions can impact their feasibility. Additionally, some excursions may have minimum or maximum participant requirements.

Smoking, including the use of e-cigarettes and vaping devices, is only permitted in designated outdoor areas on the ship's decks. However, it's crucial to note that all forms of smoking are strictly prohibited, even in designated areas, when the ship is in port or during refueling. Our crew will inform guests when these restrictions are in effect.

Please be aware that a cleaning fee of approximately NOK 1500 will be applied for smoking inside the cabin. This fee covers the cost of cleaning bedding and curtains to restore the cabin to a smoke-free standard.

Most cruise line pricing, including ours, are structured for double occupancy, with two guests sharing one cabin. Solo travelers are welcome but are typically required to pay a solo traveler supplement, which is a percentage of the cabin rate.

However, at Hurtigruten, we frequently feature promotions with no single supplement. For the latest deals and offers, please visit our special offers page.

Traveling solo means you'll enjoy the privacy of having an entire cabin to yourself, without sharing with another traveler.

All our ships except for the for the MS Nordtjernen are fitted with stabilizers to ensure a smoother sailing experience. However, it's important to note that in adverse weather conditions, including high winds and waves, some degree of ship motion may still be experienced.

If you’re traveling on a full voyage, you’ll be able to choose your cabin grade and cabin number at no extra charge (subject to availability). If you’re on a half voyage, it is not possible to choose your exact cabin number. 

Please note that cabins on decks with access to outside areas may sometimes have an obstructed view and/or have other passengers walking past the window. If sailing on the Svalbard Line or the North Cape Line, your voyage is all inclusive. This includes:

  • Daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the ship’s main restaurant, Flora

  • Daily lunch and dinner in Brasserie Árran

  • Unlimited selected drinks in Flora, Brasserie Árran, and 1893 Bar during opening hours

  • Unlimited selected tea and coffee

  • An afternoon snack in the bar

As part of our Norway’s Coastal Kitchen concept, dishes are made from locally sourced ingredients, many of which are freshly fished, plucked, and farmed, and then delivered directly to our ships at the ports we visit.

Breakfast is served from 7am Flora, and consists of a selection of cold meats, cheeses, eggs, cereals, and fruit, with freshly baked bread, pastries, and sveler pancakes. Lunch and dinner are served à la carte from 12pm and 6pm.

Brasserie Árran takes its inspiration from Norway’s Sámi people, and serves traditional dishes for lunch and dinner.

Suite guests can also choose to dine Røst, our fine-dining restaurant, where a Norwegian-inspired afternoon tea and à la carte dinner is served. Cabin guests can also dine here for an additional charge. Check the opening times when on board.

On evenings with fixed seating, Suite guests can request their preferred dining time when booking, although this may be subject to availability. Cabin guests will be assigned their dining time when they first check-in on board.

We operate a cashless system on board and accept Visa, MasterCard, and Diners Card. You can also use your cabin card on board to order snacks, drinks, meals, excursions, and guided hikes. The balance is then settled at the end of your voyage.

During your voyage, our onboard Expedition Team will enhance your experience by offering an exciting program of activities and 'edutainment'. Join one of their expert lectures and learn about Norway's wildlife, history, culture and geology, or listen to one of their 'tiny talks' about natural phenomena such as the Northern Lights. 

Our Expedition Team also issues a daily program of optional onshore excursions and activities, including hikes, snowshoeing or fishing trips. They also have photo equipment for rent and are on hand to help you get the most out of your photography during your voyage. 

If you want to travel with children, they must either share a bed with their parents or pre-book a cot. This will replace one of the beds in your cabin and costs 130 NOK.

As not all cabins are suitable, you must book by phone: +47 37 71 54 62.

For a seamless experience and to avoid disappointment, we highly recommend pre-booking your excursions to secure your spot. You can reserve these adventures up to four weeks before your departure.

To avoid delays, all guests must be ready for boarding no later than 15 minutes before departure in all ports. If you board the ship in Bergen, you need to be in the terminal no later than 30 minutes before departure.

You’ll have the option to explore the ports we visit at your leisure. Please ensure that you are back on board in time, especially if the ship arrives with a delay but departs on time to keep to schedule. The departure time will always be clearly displayed at the gangway.

Please note that the ship cannot wait for late passengers. If you miss your ship, you will need to arrange transport by yourself and at your own expense to the next port on the schedule.

Luggage handling is not included for disembarking guests on the Svalbard Line. In Bergen, all travelers need to walk through customs with their luggage and transport their own luggage from the cabin. We offer complimentary Wi-Fi on board MS Trollfjord. 

Please note that signal varies depending on different locations on the ship. As the ship sails in remote regions of Norway, speeds may also be slower and not suitable for streaming services.

There will be a fully trained, qualified nurse on board. The ship is also never too far from land should urgent medical assistance be required.

While on board, all guests are asked to maintain good hand hygiene, and to wash hands regularly. You are required to wash or sanitize your hands before all meals. Hand sanitizer is available all over the ship.

We use air-conditioning systems that provide constant air supply - the air is not recycled.

All guests must have personal travel/health insurance. If you depend on medication, please remember to bring sufficient supplies to last through any unforeseen delays. Such delays, while rare, can and do happen. We also recommend that you keep your medication in your hand luggage, properly labelled, and with clear instructions for its use.

If you need to bring a prescription, Norwegian pharmacies require this in paper format with a doctors' signature. Mobile, email or app prescriptions will not be accepted.

Norwegian and English are the official onboard languages. The Expedition Team, reception staff, and crew also often speak German as well.

Most of our excursions can also be conducted in two or three languages. Please contact the Expedition Team on board for further information.

It is a requirement that all passengers attend a compulsory safety briefing in Bergen, Longyearbyen, Tromsø, or Oslo, depending on where you first board the ship. If your voyage starts in Bergen, the safety briefing will be in the terminal lounge before embarkation. In Longyearbyen, Tromsø, or Oslo it will be on board the ship after embarkation. The briefing lasts between 10-15 minutes and is mandatory for all guests, including those who have travelled with us before. 

The briefing will include a demonstration of how to put on a life jacket and the instructions to be followed in the unlikely event of an evacuation or other emergency during the voyage. There will be an opportunity to ask questions if you have any concerns. Please familiarize yourself with the emergency procedures as shown on the diagram on your cabin door and in public areas, and ask at reception if in doubt.  

There is an onboard shop stocked with a selection of high-quality, handcrafted, local goods. We sell clothing by well-regarded Norwegian brands, outdoor equipment suitable for excursions and hikes, as well as authentic gifts and souvenirs. There is also a small selection of toiletries available for purchase.

Smoking, including the use of e-cigarettes and vaping devices, is only permitted in designated outdoor areas on the ship's decks. However, it's crucial to note that all forms of smoking are strictly prohibited, even in designated areas, when the ship is in port or during refueling. Our crew will inform guests when these restrictions are in effect.

Please be aware that a cleaning fee of approximately NOK 1500 will be applied for smoking inside the cabin. This fee covers the cost of cleaning bedding and curtains to restore the cabin to a smoke-free standard.

MS Trollfjord is equipped with stabilizers for smoother sailing. However, there may still be some swaying when winds and waves are high.

Since 2018, we have banned the use of non-essential plastics on our ships, and encourage our guests not to bring them on board. Please remember to turn off lights when leaving your cabin and unplug any electrical transformers when not in use. When ashore, kindly bring your litter back to the ship or dispose of it in public bins.

Trash sorting and recycling is standard practice aboard MS Trollfjord. 

Whenever we are near wildlife, please heed the advice of your Expedition Team and excursion guides, and act in a way that does not interfere with the wildlife’s natural behavior.
