A snowmobile excursion under the Midnight Sun in Kirkenes
  • Drive a snowmobile across a frozen fjord and snowy terrain.

  • See and experience the beautiful Arctic winter landscape.

  • Learn about the history and extreme climate of the area.

  • Enjoy a hot drink and taste reindeer meat

Arriving at our start point by bus, we’ll first gear up with helmets and thermal suits that’ll keep us safe and warm during the ride. Our guides will then give us thorough instructions on how to properly operate a snowmobile. We’ll drive in pairs, allowing each person to take turns driving and relaxing as a passenger.

Feel a rush of adrenalin as you start up your snowmobile. We’ll then set off across the snow into the stunning Arctic winter landscape. A highlight might be scooting across a frozen fjord or climbing a ridge that reveals an amazing view of the mountains.

Experienced guides will also talk about the Arctic climate, the indigenous, nomadic Sámi population, and local wildlife. We end our trip with a hot drink and some dried reindeer meat.
