Day 1: Arrival Santiago/City Tour

Start in the early afternoon from your hotel and explore “The Best of Santiago” during a half day sightseeing tour. The tour starts at your hotel and leads to the main sights of the Chilean capital. Walk in Santa Lucia Hill Park, where the city was founded, followed by a stop in the Lastarria neighbourhood. Feel the pulsing heart of Santiago at the Plaza de Armas, where past and present meet, and see the oldest buildings of the city. Continue driving through the modern district of Santiago and end the tour by going up San Cristobal Hill. The Hill rises 880m above sea level and is part of Metropolitan Park, the biggest in the country. Be rewarded with a panoramic view of the city and the impressive Andes Mountains before returning to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight at a hotel in Santiago.

Day 2: Santiago/Valparaiso, embarkation

Breakfast at your hotel. Morning transfer from your hotel in Santiago to Valparaiso. The transfer takes about 1.5 hours. After arrival, we take you through this colourful city, declared a World Heritage site, with a complex system of hills, narrow, winding streets and stairways. See examples of early 20th century, British-influenced architecture and enjoy a spectacular view at “21 de Mayo” viewpoint. The tour ends at the pier in Valparaiso in time for embarkation.

The price includes one hotel night in Santiago de Chile, including breakfast, sightseeing tour “The Best of Santiago de Chile”, transfer from Santiago to Valparaiso, including Valparaiso city tour. English-speaking guides during excursions.

Remarks / requirements

• This tour starts one day before embarkation in Valparaiso and involves some walking.
• Guests with limited mobility are on request.
• If the minimum number of participants is not reached, we reserve the right to cancel the trip up until 6 weeks before departure.
