Depart from the pier and drive to Chã das Caldeiras (Top of the Volcano).

Visiting the Chã das Caldeiras Natural Park means appreciating the greatest tourist attraction in Cape Verde and one of the most impressive landscapes in the world. 

This is the crater of an ancient volcano, approximately five miles across, formed by the magma of successive eruptions During the ride up to top of the Volcano, you will have time for short photo stops. 

In Chã das Caldeiras you will be able to visit the wine cooperative and purchase some wine or local coffee.  Afterwards your lunch will be served in the Restaurant in the middle of the volcano for a full authentically experience, finally will return back to the pier with a panoramic drive passing by São Filipe.
