The guide will meet us at Rørvik’s coastal museum, Norveg, and take us to the boat, MS Sunniva, on the harbour. Once aboard, we’ll set out to the salmon farm, where you’ll enjoy a guided tour of a working salmon cage at SalmoNor Visningssenter.

In brackish waters, you’ll be able to get close to the salmon and watch them move through the water. Don’t forget to look up now and then for scenic views of the rugged Namdalen coast. On the edge of the salmon cage, skilled breeders will share their expert knowledge of modern aquaculture.  After the tour, you’ll head back to Rørvik, now with more insights into how Norwegian salmon are reared. Before boarding the ship, you’ll have time to explore the town, including looking around Norveg and its new aquaculture exhibition. The exhibition will demonstrate the history of the aquaculture industry, from its early beginnings in the 70s to today's forward-looking export industry, which now has a strong focus on sustainable development.
