Today Tromsø is a vibrant town with a rich cultural life, and center for research and education in the North.
Today you will get to visit some of the most famous attractions in Tromsø: The Arctic Cathedral and the cable car. We will start the excursion by taking the well-known cable car up to the mountain ledge Storsteinen (421 meters above sea level). From the viewing platform at the upper station, you can enjoy spectacular panoramic views of Tromsø and the surrounding islands, mountains and fjords. Take a short walk around the mountain plateau, or enjoy the view from Fjellstua restaurant.
