Welcome to Træna, an archipelago of over 400 islands and islets right on the Arctic Circle. We will visit the island of Husøya where most of Træna’s 454 inhabitants live.

Discover the friendly village at your own pace. Our hosts have created a cultural trail for you to enjoy with several points of interests, stunning viewpoints, and food tastings.

The first people settled this island more than 9,000 years ago, probably due to the abundance of fish resources. Even today fish is the biggest business on the island. In summer, the otherwise calm village comes to life as visitors arrive to enjoy hiking, kayaking and music festivals.
