Begin your tour with a short sightseeing in the beautiful Art Nouveau town of Ålesund. You will drive along the fjords, crossing the Ørskog Mountain before arriving at the Romsdalen Valley. You will travel alongside the Rauma Salmon river to the magnificent Troll Wall, Europe`s tallest vertical overhanging rock face. Scandinavian rock climbing started in the Romsdal Alps, which boast some of the world`s most challenging climbs. A short ride brings us down to Åndalsnes and the Norwegian mountaineering centre (Norsk Tindesenter). Here you can enjoy a 15 min film about the folklore Trolls and time permitting, see some of the exhibitions. Then we will take the gondola for 5 minutes up to Nesaksla, where a breath taking panorama view is waiting for you. You will have a guided walk at the top and some free time to explore. You will also be served a delicious lunch before going down to the small town again. The bus will then bring you on a relaxing tour along the fjord landscape , and back to your awaiting ship in Ålesund.
