We will visit MS Polstjerna, the best-preserved vessel that took part in seal hunting (we do not enter the exhibit), Bukta - Tromsø’s most beautiful sandy beach, a farm at Holt - the only farm on Tromsøya, Prestvannet - the biggest lake on the island, bird paradise, and nature reserve, a ski-jump hill - the best lookout in the town, the Tromsø Arctic-Alpine Botanical Garden, where we walk the paths between exotic plants and soak in the tranquil atmosphere of this magic place, and Downtown Tromsø.
Practical information:
Language: English and German.
Included: Guide, E-bike, bike helmet, hot drink, sweet snack, reflective vest.
Remarks/requirements: Winter clothes are not included in the trip, guests must wear winter clothes appropriate for the weather, the best wind and waterproof and in layers – it is warm during activity and cold when we stop for brakes.
An overall good physical condition is needed to join this trip. It is important that participants have good balance. Tour is not recommended for guests with a heart condition or limited physical abilities.
Walking information: 500 meters in the city to reach the shop.
