Join us on a mini polar expedition across the snowy Arctic landscape just a half-hour drive from Tromsø on the island of Kvaløya.

On this excursion, you can enjoy a miniature polar expedition, complete with a pack of husky dogs, sleds and skilled drivers. After a short bus ride to Kvaløy, you’ll change into your provided thermal overalls and warm boots, before hopping aboard the sleds and getting ready for your guided adventure.

As the huskies begin to pull your sled over the frozen landscape guided by their driver, just sit back and enjoy the stunning views of the ocean and surrounding mountains. The trip is comfortable and relaxing, perfect for adults and children alike.

After around a 45-minute sled ride, you’ll enjoy getting to know the 200 Alaskan huskies at their dog yard. You’ll learn about these beautiful animals, their welfare and the sledding tradition. Finally, you’re invited into the authentic Gamme hut to warm up next to the open fire and enjoy a hot drink and slice of homemade cake.
