This exclusive tour takes you on a journey into the heritage of The Coastal Express. As a monument to Norway's coastal history, the new national Hurtigruten Museum stands by the sea in our birthplace, Stokmarknes.

As you arrive, you’ll find a full-sized ship encased in a large glass building. Here, our very own MS Finnmarken from 1956 has been lovingly restored and transformed into a fascinating museum. On your 45-minute guided tour, you’ll see preserved archives, photographs and artefacts that chronicle the evolution of The Coastal Express and its pivotal contribution to Norwegian coastal communities. You’ll get to explore MS Finnmarken’s bridge, galley, engine room, classic dining room and cabins. Then, you can relax in the lounge from the first ever Coastal Express ship, DS Finnmarken from 1912.

Celebrate the legacy of the original Norwegian coastal voyage and enjoy a visit to the Hurtigruten Museum like no other on this exclusive, expert-guided tour.
