Yarmouth - Tusket Island
What is better than a day at sea en route to one of the quaintest inhabited islands in southern Nova Scotia?
Climb aboard the LeBlanc boys’ modern fishing boat and embark on a historical adventure through islands full of rich culture and history.
Learn the techniques required to haul a real lobster trap and see the process that an actual lobster fisherman would go through on a typical day of fishing lobster.
You will then stop on Big Tusket Island for your adventure ashore where you visit a fishing shanty and workshop. Enjoy a meal of fresh local seafood chowder made from a traditional recipe passed on to the LeBlanc boys through past generations.
After being filled with delicious seafood you can enjoy live entertainment on the one-hour sail back to the Wedgeport dock.
