After enjoying the views and stopping at the Hurricane Ridge Visitors Centre, take a Nature Hike on one of the many trails in the area. While walking the hiking trail you may see sub-alpine flowers like lupine, Indian Paintbrush and avalanche lilies. Be listening for the whistle of a marmot, which are frequently seen and heard in this northwest Washington area. Whistle back to the marmot and he will whistle back to you.
