An enchanted landscape
Follow the old trail between Patreksfjörður and Tálknafjörður – the main route connecting the fjords before roads were built in the 1950s. Walk from Lambeyrarháls to Suðureyri to see an old whaling station. Along the way, stop by a place said by locals to be a fairy settlement and admire the many birds and stunning scenery.
