San Sebastian City Tour & Typical Pintxo

San Sebastian panoramic bus tour is designed to show the places that have made San Sebastian one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. It is especially designed for those people who want to get to know the city better and get a better understanding of its culture, history and traditions. There’s a lot to see in San Sebastian, so this tour combines a walking tour of the old city with a drive around some of the other most important sites that are not so easy to get to by foot. At the end of the visit we will enjoy a typical pintxo & a drink.

We will start the visit with a panoramic bus tour along the promenade of the well-known La Concha beach and the illustrious La Perla spa, observing the island of Santa Clara, the Miramar Palace, home of the royal family at the top of Pico del Loro, and the Igueldo mountain, raised on the Peine del Viento, and Urgull, crowned with the monument to the Sacred Heart. 

We will go through the Ensanche passing next to the neo-Gothic Buen Pastor Cathedral, and we will see the lavish Hotel María Cristina, a construction in homage to this illustrious resident, and the Victoria Eugenia Theatre, the first stage of the famous San Sebastián Film Festival. Following the mouth of the river Urumea we will cross the Santa Catalina bridge towards the Mª Cristina bridge. 

We will approach the Boulevard and the City Hall, initially distinguished Grand Casino in front of the Alderdi Eder gardens. We will visit the marina and fishing port with its Aquarium we will enter the historic centre of the city, its Old Town. There we will approach the basilica of Santa María del Coro, and we will cross the symbolic 31 de Agosto street towards the old church of San Vicente, to end the route in the Plaza de la Constitución where we will have the opportunity to taste one of their famous pintxos together with a drink ("pintxo" is the word in Euskera for an elaborated tapa).
