Arriving into Santiago, you will walk to the main square if the city, the Plaza del Obradoiro. Here stands The Cathedral your guide will provide some information of the monument and then you will have some free time to rest or to visit the inside of the Cathedral on your own. On arrival, guides will make us a full description of the Obradoiro Square where stands the Cathedral. the Townhall. the Pazo (Palace of Saint Jerome and the Hotel of the Reyes Catholics. This last building built as a Hospital for pilgrims during the reign of the Catholic kings in the XV century, today is one of the most beautiful hotels in its class you can find. 

Your guided outside visit of the Cathedral will be at the Obradoiro square, we find the front west baroque façade of the Cathedra of the 18th century, with the representation of Apostle Santiago as a pilgrim, also a representation of the urn where the remains of the Apostle appeared. North side is plaza de Azabacheria where the former union of Jet used to work, we will find the neoclassic façade. South is the square of Platerias (silversmiths in the middle ages work at this place) and it’s the only façade of the cathedral Romanesque style.  

Finally we will visit the Square of La Quintana where you will find the Holy Door. Step inside the temple with your guide for a full visit of one of the most important Catholic sanctuaries and the burial place of the Apostle Saint James the Greater, patron saint of Spain and Christian martyr. 

We will join together to enter the Parador in Santiago, where we will taste some delicious tapas at this magnificent hotel. 

After lunch return to La Coruna.
