You will first drive through the former Panama Canal Zone, alongside the famous Panama Canal, on your way to the Miraflores Locks Visitors Center.
You will go to the observation deck to see the Miraflores Locks in operation, as huge vessels pass through them. This is a perfect place to capture a picture of the Panama Canal in action.
Afterwards, you will have the chance to go through the exhibit center, where you will learn about the history, technology, and importance of the Panama Canal. In addition, you’ll learn about the expansion of the canal, which took place between 2007 and 2016. See historical exhibits, interactive presentations, and models.
