In El Salvador you can find many vestiges of the Maya culture, one of the most important is Joya de ceren , a Maya Village that was preserved by layers of ash from the explosion of a nearby volcano, it is now a UNESCO world heritage site, visitor can have a window or a regular maya Community from 1400 years ago , You will also visit the beautiful Cerro Verde national Park located on top of Cerro Verde Volcano , walk around the rim enjoy the views of Santa Ana Volcano, Izalco Volcano and Coatepeque lake. On route you will be delighted with vies of El Salvador country side : Sugar cane fields, Coffee plantations and the valley.
