From the Pier you will travel to the Pico de Loro (Parrot`s beak), a very peculiar rock formation, located at the bottom of the Tacana Volcano. After a short 15-minute hike, you will get to the massive rock and then will have the opportunity to enjoy the panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and forest.  

Then you continue to Izapa, where you will enjoy a typical mexican lunch. Afterwards discover the Archaeological Site, one of the most important Maya sites of the region because of its history and strategic location right where it used to be the jade and cacao trade Mayan route. Your guide will show you the still existing ball game and the rest of the remaining buildings of this Mayan Center while explaining the history of this unique civilization. After a day’s adventure it’s time to go back to your ship.
