Departing from the Golfito Marina Village, you'll travel by boat through Golfito’s beautiful gulf, the Golfo Dulce, one of the world's most biological intense rainforest landscapes. Marvel at the magnificent variety of bird life in the tropical rainforest on this guided walk. After a short half an hour boat transfer, a wet landing unveils all the beauty of this wonderful experience.

Hosted by owners, Ron and Trudy McCallister, Casa Orquídeas hosts one of the world´s largest collections of tropical and subtropical plants, including heliconias, bromeliads, palms, cacti, orchids, medicinal plants and most exotic fruit trees. This centre is located on a pristine and remote beach, nestled against a steep hillside surrounded by primary rainforest.

Fill your senses with the beauty and fragrance of this colourful array of blooms, and enjoy many opportunities to glimpse tanagers, flycatchers, swallows, and other small birds, as well as marine species. Replenish your energy with fresh tropical fruits in season and bottled water. You will then be transferred back to the pier at the end of your tour.
