Your day starts with an interesting drive to the town of Gamboa, located in the center point of the Panama Canal and right on the shores of Lake Gatun.

Here you will begin an easy 2-hour walk through one of the most important natural reserves of the Panama Canal watershed.

The almost 20,000 hectares of Soberanía National Park are home to a great variety of mammals, birds, and reptiles. Our experienced guides know exactly where to look for them.

After your nature walk, you will head to the local marina. Embark on a 2-hour boat ride on Lake Gatun, navigating next to the giant Panamax vessels that transit the Panama Canal.

Our captain will take you to different areas of the lake, in search of wildlife. Along the way, your guide will point out the flora and fauna of the rainforest. Howler monkeys, crocodiles, sloths, and toucans are just some of the species that might cross your path during this amazing day-long adventure.
