Appropriate warm, layered, waterproof clothing and suitable shoes for cycling.
Transfer by bus to the start of your bike ride for a safety briefing before you receive your bikes. Don the mandatory helmet and set off along the scenic former Waterford to Dungarvan Railway line with stops for photos along the route. Pause in Kilmeaden before continuing along the route to the village of Kilmac- thomas. Once you reach this outskirts of this quaint little village, you will be invited to enjoy some tea/ coffee & scones in The Coach House which was once an old famine house building dating back to the 1840’s.
Relax a little before continuing by coach to your awaiting ship. Biking distance is approx. 30 km, almost 19 miles and is only recommended for guests who are in good physical condition, experienced and confi- dent bicycle-riders, and comfortable with hand brakes and riding downhill.
