The Harbour is a vibrant hub of fishing vessels and yachts throughout the year, along with the multi coloured rows of sea front houses, giving it a most attractive appearance. Your guide will share aspects of history, ancient and modern, as you walk the sea front. At the end of the town, you will reach the lifeboat station and ferry pier.  From here, head into the woodland with glimpses of the sea and shore before the views open out with vistas over to Kilchoan and Ardnamurchan on mainland Great Britain. Enjoy a photo-stop at the historic lighthouse, built in 1857, before returning to the port.

Return to the ship and cross the sound of Mull towards Loch Sunart, one of Scotland’s most beautiful sea lochs for an expedition adventure of small boat cruising and nature landing. Disembarking on a small boat on a solitary coast is the essence of expedition travelling.  No port, no houses and perhaps no vehicles. Only raw nature, infinite landscapes, and untamed wildlife. No filters of any kind. The real pleasure of exploring the environment with the open mind of the pioneers, of discovering the world as it used to be.
