Leave Craignure following the picturesque coastline, passing through the historic villages of Dervaig, Calgary (home to a rich variety of birdlife and the haunting ruins of stone forts) an along idyllic Loch Cuin & Loch Tuath where you arrive at Lip Na Cloiche. The garden at Lip na Cloiche Gardens illustrates the wide range of varieties that can be successfully grown in gardens in the mild western climate of the Isle of Mull. There is an eclectic and comprehensive collection of small tress, shrubs and herbaceous plants, including some Chilean and New Zealand rarities. A picturesque burn is planted with primulas, mecanopsis, gunneras and other damp-loving specialities. This tour includes entrance to the garden, orientation briefing and refreshments of tea and homebaked cakes.
