Comfortable clothes, raincoat & footwear is recommended.
At Hurtigruten, the most important daily task of our crews is stopping waste before it reaches the sea, but we also need to help clean up existing pollution.
Tresco is one of the beautiful, unspoilt inhabited islands of the Isles of Scilly, however the second-biggest island in this Cornish archipelago is not exempt from ocean pollution. Join the Expedition Team and contribute to the protection of these remote islands in this beach clean-up!
After you’ve helped clean up Tresco’s beautiful beaches, make your way to the Abbey Gardens. The team of dedicated gardeners here will show you through this charming botanical collection, featuring plants from as far afield as New Zealand and South America. These exotic plants thrive in Tresco’s sheltered micro-climate, and bring vibrant colour and diversity to these unique gardens.
