A beautiful hike from Brodick which follows the Glenrosa Water deep into the tranquillity of the Glen with excellent views of the craggy peaks of the Goatfell range. Starting from Brodick, walk towards Arran Brewery where the path gradually climbs into the woodland. Walking through mature woodland path reaches the footbridge, up a slight incline. Continue along the grassy track which follows alongside a forest with open moorland below and increasingly dramatic views ahead. Soon Glenrosa Water comes into view - a popular spot for wild swimmers. The views continue to improve as the path leads further into the glen. Seen from here can be the A’Chir ridge ahead and Cir Mhor emerging as the path curves northwards. Follow this circular route to return to Brodick pausing for photos along the way.
