Dog sledding with huskies and mushers
See beautiful Arctic winter landscapes
Sit back and relax as a team of strong Alaskan huskies pull your sled through the snow-covered winter landscape of Kvaløya island. After the ride, you’ll visit the huskies and their puppies. Learn about the dog breed, dog-sled racing, and animal welfare. Then warm up by an open bonfire in a cosy Sámi lavoo tent, with a hot drink, bidos (a traditional Sámi reindeer stew) and chocolate cake.
